Westella

When I saw Archi-scraps challenge #3 I knew instantly the photo and theme I was going to scrap. If you would like to join in you can get to Archi-scraps here.  Julene would love to see some newbies having a go at her latest challenge.

Westella

Journaling on the hidden tag says...

'Westella' - a bed and breakfast located on the Bass Hwy, Ulverstone was once owned by my Great Uncle Russell Charleston. It was built in circa 1885 and is now a Heritage/National Trust landmark building. As a young girl I stayed there on holidays with my Auntie Effie. 'Westella' was once a farm and my Uncle Russell ran cattle on the many acres. I remember staying in my cousins room upstairs, he had a porthole as window and I used to think it was appropriate as he was in th navy! Westella was surrounded by beautiful gardens.
I visited in my early twenties with my husband, back then it had been converted to an antique store and recently it had changed hands again and is now a Bed and Breakfast. Not sure if I like the the new look striped verander!! - Shazza

Here is a close up of my page!

Here is Julenes inspirational piece!

You can use green and white as your theme or focus on the shapes in the picture.
It is an opportunity to use some leaves or branches on your layout

You have until midnight on the 15th Septmber to add your page to the comments section and to be in the running for a really cool scrapbook studio mini album prize!

NOTE - I also made this page for Stacy Julians TWELVE - July - PLACES
I have added my colored embellie which is the green bird  and have added the number '12' to one of the apples on the tree. I'm going to pop the number '12' somewhere on the page, to identify the pages I am doing for Stacy's workshop.
